The roofing systems on these three quonset shaped hangars, a flat hangar, and various other buildings at Westover Air Force Base (Chicopee, MA) were all constructed to meet or exceed the highest standards of the United States Air Force. In addition to many classified features, they are designed to withstand significant winds.
This dual roofing system installed in 2001 at the Boland school is Sarnafil PVC with standing seam metal. The Architectural Firm was Tessier Associates and the General Contractor was Fontaine Brothers Inc.

This Sarnafil roofing system was recently installed in the winter of 2008/2009. J.D. Rivet worked through the winter elements and high security requirements to complete this project.
This historical renovation required the exact replication of the 128 year old slate design. A complete restoration of the façade was done including repointing and cleaning of the exterior brownstone and trim.
